Inspector
Main duties:-
Inspection (first off and final inspection) of machined components using conventional metrology
equipment and coordinate measuring machines.
Preparation of components for dispatch to customers. This may involve manual finishing (de-burring/polishing)
so that components are presented in the right condition to be incorporated in to customers'  product.
Maintaining records and following procedures as per the Company's ISO9001 quality system.

Requirements:-
Fully experienced in the the use of conventional metrology equipment and manual coordinate measuring machines.
Thorough understanding of engineering drawings including geometrical tolerancing.
Experience of working within an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment and of calibration systems would be advantageous.

CNC Setter Operator - CNC Machining Centres
Main Duties:-
Setting and operating of CNC machining centres equipped with Heidenhain controls.
Use of inspection equipment to monitor quality of components produced.
Completion of paperwork as per the Company quality system.
To ensure productivity targets are achieved.

Requirements:-
Time served, fully skilled CNC machinist.
Experience of the manufacture of low volume high quality instrument type parts.
Diligent approach and a fine eye for detail.
Experience of 5 axis machining would be a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate will be self disciplined and have the ability to remain on task when unsupervised.
They will also be able to use their own initiative to efficiently progress work through the section to achieve productivity goals.

Tooling Controller - CNC Machining Centres
Main duties:-
Assembly of tooling packages for use on CNC machining centres.
Pre-setting of tool length and radius data using a Zoller optical pre-setter.
Disassembly and storage of tooling returned from shop floor.
Monitoring stock levels of consumable tooling.
Controlling the issue of jigs and fixtures to shop floor staff.

Requirements:-
Thorough knowledge of modern metal cutting tooling and associated equipment.
Good level of computer literacy.
To be able to work in an organised tidy manner
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

This is a new role that has been created following recent investment in both machines and software.

This is a new position that has been created due to an increase in customer orders.
