Tooling Controller - CNC Machining Centres
Main duties:-
Assembly of tooling packages for use on CNC machining centres.
Pre-setting of tool length and radius data using a Zoller Smile 400 optical pre-setter.
Disassembly and storage of tooling returned from shop floor.
Monitoring stock levels of consumable tooling.
Controlling the issue of jigs and fixtures to shop floor staff.

Requirements:-
Thorough knowledge of modern metal cutting tooling and associated equipment.
Good level of computer literacy.
To be able to work in an organised tidy manner
Experience in a similar role and of tool and cutter grinding would be advantageous.

This is a new role that has been created following recent investment in both machines and software.

Hrs Mon - Thurs 08:00 - 13:00 13:30 - 17:00   Fri 08:00 - 13:00
Salary negotiable
